A Favor For Free Will America and Dir en grey

Free Will America has asked us to do a favor for them on behalf of Dir en grey. How can we say no!?

Dir en grey wants to know what you guys thought of the tour. To help them out, Free Will America has set-up an online survey and asks that all people who went to the shows fill it out for the benifit of the band. It only takes a moment of your time. If you fill this out, it will be a great service to the band and help them better their American ambitions!

Here's the link:

Special thanx go to Free Will America for their fine treatment of the Iron Otaku Network at the Nissan Pavillion!

The Iron Otaku Network Proudly Presents Toshiya and Die of Dir en grey!!!!

First of all, we would like to deeply apologize to the vast amount of you who were unable to connect last night. For the first time in WIXQ history (to the best of my knowledge) the server reached full capacity and was unable to support everyone. We apologize to all of you who tried for hours and hours to connect last night but were unable to. However, as tradition on TR, we will make it up to you.

Next week, Tainted Reality will air the Iron Otaku Network's exclusive interview with Die and Toshiya of Dir en grey conducted by Jason Heltin. Since the reaction for a mere announcement of this interview was so overwhelming, we are taking great stride to make sure the interview does get to you one was or another. So, here's what we will do. Thursday, September 28th, Tainted Reality will be your first chance to hear the interview. Immediately afterwards, for those of you who are unable to connect, the interview will be available for download on On Friday night, it will air for the final time on Iron Otaku on XM Satellite Radio channel 29. Then, the next week, the interview, unedited and in its entirety, will be available on the Tainted Reality Myspace.

Hopefully, this way, it will reach everyone it possibly can reach. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Once again, we deeply apologize for last night, and we WILL make it right next week!

Tainted Reality Penning A Script For Sailor Moon

This may hit some of you out of left feild, but this is the project that we have been hyping that has been in the works for 6 years. It's a very ambitious undertaking for us and we want your input! Basically, we are retelling the first story arch from a more serious, humanistic perspective. If you are interested, we are uploading chapters of the first draft to If we get a good response for this, we will be pushing for it to be turned into an actual movie, not a fan film! Please check it out and let us know what you think!

Oh! It's on! TONIGHT!

Tonight, as promised, will be a BIG show! We have premiers tonight from Miyavi, Vidoll, Ellegarden, An Cafe, and Glay; our promotion's manager, Nancy, coming by to co-host, the return of an old fan favorite segment, the announcement of a major TR project that is 6 years in the making, and, of course, a MAJOR MAJOR surprise announcement! We also did our tour report of BLOOD's LES FLEURS DU MAL Tour in the US and Mexico, and revealed that things weren't so pleasant for them south of the boarder, but they don't blame the people of Mexico, and still wish to come back.

Lastly, we revealed info on our first feature film, The Otakon Documentary (unofficial title). The film will chronicle the events surrounding TR and Iron Otaku at this year's Otakon, and features tons of cosplayers, hundreds of people dancing, numerous unforgetable moments, and of course, Nana Kitade, MUCC, and the man himself, Yoshiki. Season Premiere Uncertain

Bad news guys.

Recently, we in southern Pennsylvania have not seen the happiest weather. Storm damage has been reported across the state, and WIXQ has suffered some as well. We at Tainted Reality were just sent an e-mail from the Station Manager that said that until the storm damage is repaired, WIXQ will not be broadcasting, leaving the season premiere of Tainted Reality in question. It will be repaired in the coming days, but weather or not repairs will be finished before 7pm Thursday is uncertain. WIXQ employees will be working around the clock on repairs though, so lets keep our fingers crossed. As soon as WIXQ starts broadcasting again, the news will be posted here on Keep checking here as, if repairs are not finished by Thursday, the season premiere will be postponed to next week, and we will post the news here. We deeply apologise for this and that none of you out there see it fit to slit our throats and deficate on our lifeless bodies for making you suffer without J-Rock!

Mega Myspace Update!

The following is from our Myspace admin:

We're coming back this Thursday baby!!!

And we couldn't just quietly reappear! Hell no! We are in the process of revamping EVERYTHING that is TR, starting with the Myspace!

Now the renovation is not completely, as we still have the cosmetics to attend to, but the most important part is, NEW CONTENT!

First and foremost, we have uploaded part 1 of our interview with Suicide Ali that we did last year. Their Myspace is also now in our top 8 so, if you are not familiar with them, be sure to check them out! Second, we uploaded a guest spot that Roger did on another radio station, WHIZ in Leichtglaubigsburgh PA, as a movie reviewer, ripping apart what might be the worst movie of all time, Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne. However, those of you that know Roger know he never does anything by the books, and hilarity ensues!

We also updated our show info just a weeee bit to reflect our accomplishments over the summer.

Now that the Snakes on a Plane hype is a shade bit behind us, we can upload some new videos! New to the Myspace is 4 new videos staring all 4 artists to be featured in the season premiere this week!

The first is probably the funniest J-Rock video EVER! We won't ruin it for you, but it involves some guy named Toshi, a diner, and the word "KUSSO!".

The next video is from none other than MUCC, and is the PV for their new single Utagoe. It is important that you take notice to this because you have the oportunity to win this single September 7th!!!

We also uploaded a PV from EGL princess Nana Kiatde, who was nice enough to sit down and hang with us at Otakon, and who's interview with us can be heard, once again, September 7th.

The last video is from our buddies BLOOD, and is a rare video that most fans in the USA have never even seen! It's a cover of Pegasus Fantasy and features NoA of Brand 0 on vocals, and Yuu of Suicide Ali on guitar!!!

Lastly, we have a brand new Top 8 to reflect the premiere, featuring the artists who you will hear about September 7th.

Come on by and check out the myspace for loads of new entertainment, and, most importantly, be sure to check out our season premeire, this Thursday, September 7th! Check the profile for local times and instructions on how to listen and make requests!

-TR is where it's all at guys!
